So my first official post on the haveyouheardthelatest blog.
I hope you’re ready!
THE DOCK KITCHEN
Although I am yet to visit (despite some serious hint dropping and magazine left open-ing around boyfriend) The Dock Kitchen looks set to be an ideal venue to spend many a lazy afternoon drinking and eating this spring/summer.
Recently featured in Vogue, The Dock Kitchen finds itself tucked away halfway between Kensel Green and Ladbroke Grove in West London, right on the most northern edge of Portobello. The building itself is the old Virgin Studio recording complex and consequently the HQ of furniture legend Tom Dixon.
With a themed menu, good for those who hate decision making (me!) bad for those who are particular about what they eat (boyfriend), you can expect to always expect something different here. A well travelled chef means mealtime inspiration can be anything from Moroccan to Scandinavia, Italian to Sri Lankan.
In other words head over with an open mind, failing that an open bottle will do as I have recently been informed this is also a BYOB kind of place!
Not sure why but that sort of info always excites me!
